TPLO aborted

Molly was scheduled to have a TPLO surgery today for her left hip which is pretty bad. We left home at 6:00 to deliver her to the Colorado State University vet school at 7:30.
We got home at 8:45. At 9:15, the doctor called and said Molly peed in her kennel and it smelled really bad. That is an indication of a UTI and they would delay the surgery until they could analyze the urine. At 10:00, they called again and yes, it was a severe UTI and they recommended the surgery be delayed. So, we went up there again to bring her home with some antibiotics and pain meds. We stopped at an A&W in a small town on the way back and Molly and I had Papa Burgers and she is happy to be at home now.
It is a good thing she peed in the kennel as doing surgery with a bad infection is not recommended.
So it will be in a couple of weeks.
