PLEASE!

Read about bloat! Bloat is an immediate and life threatenting emergency. A dog with bloat will NOT survive if not treated soon after the onset. Read about it, know the signs and symptoms, and discuss it with your vet. For this and other critical emergencies, you should know where a 24 hour clinic/pet hospital is located or get recommendations from your vet.

PLEASE!

Read about canine hip displasia. Hopefully, if you purchase a Bouvier, its parents will have been tested for hip displasia and other genetic problems and have been declared clear. Hip displasia is a genetic problem and can severely debilitate a dog. Large dogs are particularly susceptible to it.
